Opportunities for volunteers:-

ACE Cornton runs a ‘buddy’ system of volunteers who help and support learners with their classes. This is aimed at our beginners computer classes initially but other subjects may be included. There will also be opportunities for helping at projects outside class hours. A portfolio of volunteer work will be developed as tasks and duties are performed. Contact Ian for further information .

Inexpensive Photocopying.

In addition to providing quality learning opportunities, we offer inexpensive photocopying, laminating and faxing. We offer free access to the internet and use of computers.  

CHILDCARE

This available for participants in our classes depending on demand. Childcare is provided either by local registered child minders or by creche. Please ask the ACE team for details.

Advice and Guidance:-

We are able to offer advice and guidance around adult learning.We work closely with our partners at Stirling University, Forth Valley College,Careers Service and others to provide this service.We are also able to set up appointments and refer on to these services.
